Do you think we should have the FBI investigate Ellison National Finance?

My husband and I talked with William Adelton about getting a unsecured personal loan through Ellison National Finance. We never got loans through the internet and we had no idea that we did not need to send a fee to get our loan. Mr. Adelton said that the $1000 we sent was a deposit for three months of payments on our loan. My husband believed him and sent the money. We were suppose to get our money May 27th but we had a loan inquiry on our credit report and the woman at customer service said that we would need to wait until June 13th to get our loan. We are waiting for the funds and we are hoping that they will appear tommarow morning.

If you feel you are the victim of fraud, you should call the police, they will contact the FBI if it is a matter for the FBI.

They are scammers… “Advance Fee Loan Fraud”, as the 7 other questions on Answers will indicate… or doing a fairly basic search on the internet… I’m not quite sure WHY people fail to do even basic research before sending their hard earned money to scammers, but….
Anyway, contact the FBI… your money is gone and chances are they won’t even be able to catch these people… Also contact the following:
FTC toll free hotline: 877-FTC-HELP (877-382-4357)
FTC online complaint website (www.ftc.gov)
Canadian PhoneBusters hotline: 888-495-8501
Internet Fraud Complaint Center website (www.ic3.gov/)
Your local cyber Crime branch or your local police department.
The more information you put out there the better because SOMEONE might actually decide to do a little research ahead of time… Give up “hoping that they will appear tommarow morning.” since there is no loan company, no loan, and they are using your money to finance their lifestyle now…

definately call the FBI, possibly the BBB, but FBI first, I’ve heard of this before and it is a scam, no respectible lender will ask for any deposit of payments for a loan, Good luck

Ellison National Finance is a total scam. Look up the site Edward Norman Financial…..same website but different name. They are total crooks. You will not get your deposit back from them…….I’m sorry they took your money. Definitely report them to the authorities. Who knows where they are even located, their locations do not exist in Chicago and Toronto. Good luck!
