If I file my income taxes on the IRS website, being a Floridian, filing my taxes will be free?

I heard if I file my federal income taxes on the IRS website, as long as my income is less than $54,000, then it’s free. Being a resident of Florida, I don’t pay any state taxes. So therefore filing my income taxes will be free? Is this correct?

Natural, healthy diet for your pets!
There are several companies that participate in IRS Federal “Free-File”. H&R Block is one of them, and if you use their services, you can call in and ask a tax professional questions if you get stuck or don’t understand something. I don’t know about the rest of the free-file websites, or what other companies participate. Yes, you can file for free.
Be careful to make sure you get all the deductions and credits you’re entitled to, though. I’m never sure if I would trust a machine to know… but, then again, I get paid to know what the machine doesn’t, so I’m less trusting of the programs anyway.
